.Videographer is a multiuser video and sensor enabled GIS data capture and visualisation suite.  The system projects captured video steams into a 3D world, correlated with various sensors.  This allows users to map items in the video to a spatial relational database.  Collected data is published live for multi user internet viewing and mining.  dotSurview supports data collection from multiple video channels and sensor feeds with tools to accurately measure an entities' position, height, width, area and other aspects like condition, class and category. 

Entities can be point, line or area based with validation rules that improves data integrity.

• dotSurvey is a complete client-server system suite with the following components:
• dotCatcher - a 3D Video and GIS application where data capture and primary visualisation is performed
• dotServer - an application server, image server cluster and spatial relational database back end for secure data logging, publishing, validation and reporting
• dotPlotter - a Web interface for plotting and mining collected data from the live system and provides access to the reporting services and data mining services of dotServer
• dotCorrelator - the import and setup tools and frameworks required to import multiple sensor feeds and correlate with the video data so that the data mining process can start with DotCacher.
• dotCollector - an advanced architecture with components required to strap onto an platform to collect multi-sensory information that includes a differential GPS and video cameras as a minimum with optional extras like an INS and other sensor feeds that measure environmental aspects.
